Each Teppana rug comes in two parts: the removable design and the non-slip pad. Want to clean your rug? Simply peel the design off the pad and wash it in the washing machine.

Yes, the designs are lightweight and can be easily washed in any standard washing machine.

We recommend washing the rugs at a low temperature, below 30 degrees. This is sufficient to get the rugs clean and is environmentally friendly due to significantly lower energy consumption. 🌱You should not use bleach or fabric softener. In our tests, we have washed a design over 30 times without any signs of wear.

For drying, you can easily use your dryer. If you have more time, you can also hang the design to air dry. ☀️

We use sustainable and functional materials to manufacture our rugs.

Our rug pads are made from recycled polyester and soft TPE foam (thermoplastic elastomers), similar to those used in yoga mats. Our pads are free from PVC, latex, and plasticisers.

Our rug designs are also made from recycled polyester with a waterproof inner layer made of polyurethane.

Yes, our rugs are perfectly suitable for underfloor heating. With their flat weave, they are very heat-conductive.

Our rug designs and pads are each approximately 3.2mm thick, making the assembled rug 6.4mm thick. This allows doors to open easily over the rug.

Our washable rugs have the following weights:

- The 90 x 160cm rug weighs 2.5 kg including the pad
(the washable design weighs 1 kg).

- The 140 x 200cm rug weighs 4.8 kg including the pad
(the washable design weighs 2 kg).

- The 170 x 240cm rug weighs 6.9 kg including the pad
(the washable design weighs 2.9 kg).

- The 200 x 300cm rug weighs 10.2 kg including the pad
(the washable design weighs 4 kg).
