All designs are machine washable.

Every design can easily be washed at 30°C in a standard washing machine, keeping your bath mat hygienic and looking its best at all times. We recommend using a mild detergent without bleach.

  • What makes Teppana special?
    Every Teppana rug comes in two parts: the washable design and the non-slip pad.
  • Want to clean your rug? Simply remove the design from the pad and pop it in the washing machine.
  • What is the best way to wash the rugs?
    We recommend washing at 30°C — this is more than sufficient to get your rug clean again and is kinder to the environment thanks to the significantly lower energy consumption. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
  • You can use a tumble dryer to dry your rug. If you have more time, you can hang the design up to air dry instead.
  • What materials are the rugs made from?
    We use sustainable and functional materials to make our rugs:
  • The design rug is made from partly recycled polyester, enhanced with an inner waterproof layer of polyurethane.
  • The pad is made from recycled polyester on the upper side and soft TPE foam (thermoplastic elastomers) on the underside — similar to yoga mats. No latex is used.
