Teppana rugs combine unique designs with cleanliness and freshness. Each Teppana rug comes in two parts: the detachable design and the non-slip pad. Want to clean your rug? Simply remove the design from the pad and wash it in the washing machine.

Yes, the designs are lightweight and easily fit into any standard washing machine.

We recommend washing the rugs at a low temperature below 30 degrees Celsius. This is sufficient to get the rugs clean and also helps conserve the environment by significantly reducing energy consumption. 

Avoid using bleach or fabric softener. In our tests, we washed a design over 30 times without any signs of wear. For drying, you can safely use your dryer. If you have more time, you can also hang the design for air drying. We recommend not using a dryer for plush rugs to maintain their softness. 

We use sustainable and functional materials in the production of our rugs. Our rug pads are made from recycled polyester and soft TPE foam (thermoplastic elastomers), similar to those commonly used in yoga mats. These materials are free from PVC, latex, and plasticizers. Our rug designs also consist of recycled polyester with a waterproof inner layer made of polyurethane.

Our rug designs and pads are each about 3.2mm thick. Therefore, the assembled rug is 6.4mm thick. This allows doors to open easily over the rug
