Each Teppana rug comes in two parts: the removable design and the non-slip pad. Want to clean your rug? Simply peel the design off the pad and wash it in the washing machine.

Yes, the designs are lightweight and fit easily into any standard washing machine. Our rugs in the size 90x160cm fit perfectly in washing machines with a capacity of at least five kilograms. Sizes 140x200cm, 170x240cm, and 200x300cm fit wonderfully in washing machines with a capacity of at least seven kilograms.

We recommend washing the rugs at a low temperature, below 30 degrees. This is sufficient to get the rugs clean and is environmentally friendly due to significantly lower energy consumption. 🌱You should not use bleach or fabric softener. In our tests, we have washed a design over 30 times without any signs of wear.For drying, you can easily use your dryer. If you have more time, you can also hang the design to air dry. ☀️

We use sustainable and functional materials to manufacture our rugs. Our rug pads are made from recycled polyester and soft TPE foam (thermoplastic elastomers), similar to those used in yoga mats. Our pads are free from PVC, latex and plasticisers. Our rug designs are also made from recycled polyester with a waterproof inner layer made of polyurethane.

Our rug designs and pads are each approximately 3.2mm thick, making the assembled rug 6.4mm thick. This allows doors to open easily over the rug.
